How to handle it?

Believe me, there is no better way to handle anything than to face it , yes that is about it.

Let’s say , one fine day you went to office and your boss asked you to help him or asked to write an article with minimum 500 words within two hours ,on “Achieve your target sales figure with ease”.

And you are stuck; here you have to give all practical view points which are very unique to your business.

As a senior team member , you have to express your views or thoughts on right marketing strategy that will help acquire new customer.

Here you are well aware of your service, that is you provide services to the newly formed companies , in terms of generating and increasing the sales figure.

You started searching in the internet and you get to know the format and you got many related documents.

Now how to start, give it a good beginning, feed the relevant facts and figures and making it useful for the end users. Yes, these are the basis criteria of a good report.

As per me:

Title: Achieve your target sales figure with ease

It was Jan 21–2018, that is exactly two months left for completion of financial year ending and The Ants & Co, co-founder Rashesh was getting mad with every single second. He was trying to push it very hard to meet the budgeted revenue figure, with whatever leads he had but was of no use. He continuously kept calling and checking emails to all his existing clients to understand their further concerns.

His eyes then fell on the email that goes as part of our email list marketing.

He called on the number , that was provided in the email. Rashesh thought not to break his head anymore and take some professional help.

Within an hour of time the meeting was set up, with one of our company’s senior marketing strategy consultant. He was a smart , tall guy with husky voice , joined our company four months back but had a peak performance result. His name was Nishan.

Nishan and Rashesh went into the meeting room. It took Nishan completely one hour to understand the scenario. He found that “ The Ants and Co “ was into providing financial consultancy to multinational banks. They were new players in the market, with a revenue target of five crores. They had acquired both national and international clients. Till date their sales figure was 3.9 crores and was lacking 1.1 cr.

Indicating Mistakes in the Current Approach

Nishan did a thorough research and found the following flaws in their approach , which were directly responsible for their sickening performance. And they were:

  • No action on the client feedback
  • Sales channel were inefficient
  • Poor online presence
  • Inflated pricing as compared to its competitors
  • Limited distribution channel and no further work to increase the same
  • No nurturing of existing clients’ relationship

Next Course of Action

The marketing consultant now worked on the below:

  • For the existing and repeated clients, made note of what worked for them, i.e which all aspects did really help to solve their problems. Took note of what did not worked for the dissatisfied clients
  • Made a reference case study and analysis, to find the root cause, comprehend the situation, identify relevant facts, how it can be developed to not fall into trap anymore
  • Did the pricing strategy in line with the current market scenario
  • Set up a small team , who will handle the social media communication , query resolution and news front(Product development, R& D), on behalf of the company

Immediate Action

  • He managed to prepare power packed advertisements and tagged them online and coupled them with testimonials
  • Made multiple arrangements to get the sales call. He managed to show how in past , they have helped their esteemed client to escape them from an impending hazard and thereby enhanced the revenue multifold

Now it is time for you to take an immediate call

As it is rightly said Without much delay, let us catch up , let me understand your organization, its employees, their strength, the problems they face and how those problems can be sorted and fixed fully within no time. I am sure you will never repent for your decision.
